4 hours ago Full Job Description Summary The Vice President of Operations' primary responsibility is to direct manufacturing operations through a team of functional managers and supervisors.
The Vice President also ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines.
Lead initiatives to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.
The Vice President of Operations is held accountable for performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Manages policy deployment in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and performance measures.
Champions lean and process improvements, creating a culture of root cause analysis - asking and answering the 5 Whys.
Drives a safety culture with employee engagement, holding employees accountable, leading by example and reinforcing best practices.
Holds the overall responsibility for clear communication of the vision, mission, and operational objectives for the facility.
Develops and executes Communication Plans that drive workforce motivation and employee allegiance, and meet the Company's goal of being an Employer of Choice.
Accountable for the overall financial performance of the site, focusing on revenue recognition, cost management to deliver EBITDA commitments, working capital management, and cash flow objectives.
Develops and manages in accordance with an approved budget, maintains a system of internal controls, and holds the overall responsibility for safeguarding assets.
Manages the Capital Budget for the business; plans and recommends investments to drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process controls to insure quality of all products.
Directs the Order Fulfillment activities at the facility; acting to ensure safe, efficient, and high quality production, On Time Shipment (OTS) and positive customer experiences.
Oversees the Materials Management and Logistics functions to drive robust production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and transportation delivery performance to customers.
Ensures that the Site Quality function is continuously focused on the development of a Quality Culture that is based on process controls and continuous improvement, and that production is executed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal standards, and customer requirements.
Interacts with the Division Sourcing organization as required to maintain cost-efficient availability of materials and supplies, and achievement of inventory objectives.
Serves as a Role Model Leader, and assists the Human Resources function in developing and executing sound HR programs and ensuring HR policy conformance.
Serves as Program Champion for Lean.
Drives continuous improvement and standard work across all organizational elements using Key Performance Indicator metrics formats, balanced scorecards, and other systems of maintaining measurement and accountability.
Continuously responsible for working and leading in a collaborative manner and promoting cross-functional teamwork and optimum business efficiency while maintaining superior levels of customer service.
Metrics include AB's Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Financial Statements, Variance Reports, Expense Reports, Budgets, and other forms of standard financial measurement.
Plans, directs and coordinates the design, distribution, purchasing, planning, manufacturing engineering and production activities of a division and ensures that products are produced in accordance with budgeted objectives and regulatory standards Develops and/or manages implementation of multi-site production activities and/or programs to attain goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
Reviews and approves strategic plans for production based on products, equipment, material and manpower variables within the department.
Submits periodic reports, in writing and in person, to appropriate personnel.
Sets strategic goals and priorities and evaluates subordinate's performance based on those goals and priorities.
Coaches and develops operations personnel Participates in the executive leadership team meetings and board room discussions; prepares and presents appropriate metrics and plans to reflect a performance-based culture with a customer focus.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements 10-15 years of Manufacturing Leadership Experience.
Proficient in the deployment of lean manufacturing tools.
Proficiency in Policy Deployment (Danaher Business Systems) a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
