78 an hour 3 hours ago 3 hours ago 3 hours ago Patron Services Assistant Under the supervision of the patron services supervisor, the patron services assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all library patrons.
They staff two public service desks and the Call Center.
Schedule:
part-time, 16 hours/week Monday 9am - 1pm Friday 12pm - 6pm Sunday 12pm - 6pm Selected
Responsibilities:
Greet patrons in a friendly manner Answer basic informational questions in person, via phone, and over chat Sign patrons up for new library cards Check out materials Coach patrons in use of automated services Handle renewal of materials and other basic circulation inquiries Handle patron concerns Engage patrons in light conversation around books, movies, and other collection items Roving the floor to assist patrons Selected Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency At least one year of experience in a customer service position Skokie Public Library offers:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
