You don't need a car, but it helps if you have one.
You will help photographers carry photography equipment into the job site, help set it up, and test the equipment to be sure it works properly.
You will also help keep people organized, check to make sure that hair looks proper, faces look clean, clothes look proper.
You will help set up poses, and adjust props so they line up where they should be.
You don't need a camera if you only want to be an assistant.
Local gigs pay $14 per hour with a 4 hour minimum.
You are not required to travel out of town, however we will have more work for you if you can travel overnight.
You must give us an invoice when you want to get paid.
You are not required to accept every gig we offer you, however once you accept a gig, it is very important for you to be there on time.
You will usually travel in the photographer's car.
You must be able to speak and understand English.
You will not work the same days and hours every week.
If you want us to train you to be a photographer you will eventually need to have your own camera.
Do not buy a camera until we tell you what kind will be good for you.
You can use our cameras while you are getting paid to train; you can also use our cameras whenever you assist.
Paid training means we schedule you for paid training in Skokie, IL, and teach you our ways to photograph people.
You must be able to interview face-to-face, in Skokie, IL.
If you also want to do office work, that is also done in Skokie.
It is best if you live or work within a 20 minute drive of Skokie, or Rogers Park.
