This compeny has 65 users and 250-300 physical/virtual Servers.
Looking for a 5-7 year sharp candidate to be groomed to be the lead.
Ideal candidate will have Windows server, VMWare and/or Hyper-V (preferred) because they are moving from VMWare to Hyper-V.
CISCO, networking, Firewall (Palo Alto) preferred, SAN storage.
They will be the backup to end-user support for escalations as needed from help desk.
They have 250-300 Servers, a combination of Windows and virtual HP hardware, SAN, VLANS, Cisco, 3 people in infrastructure.
On any given day you could be working on desktops, laptops, physical Servers, virtual Servers, Switches and/or Firewalls with a leading-edge technology company.
Technical Details
Virtualization - VMware vSphere 6.
x and/or Hyper-V
Operating Systems - Windows Server (2008 R2 to 2016), Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 8.
1 Enterprise
Other Technologies - Office 365, Windows System Update Service (WSUS), Bit Defender Enterprise, Active Directory, Microsoft Direct Access, AlienVault, Netwrix, various Firewalls (Palo Alto), Cisco/HP 10gb Switches, VLAN
